Q.  The products I’ve used previously haven’t seemed to work. Why is that?
A. There are 3 possible reasons for this:

1.  Reinfestation has occurred. For example - head to head contact with another infested head may cause another breakout.
In this situation repeat the treatment again.
2. Incorrect treatment regime may lead to not fully breaking the life cycle. Eggs can remain viable after the first and even second application. Recent Australian research has proven that it can take up to 10 days for a louse to hatch. Ensure you complete each of the three applications, each 7 days apart. You may also want to use MOOV Head Lice Foaming Gel or MOOV Head Lice Combing Conditioner in between each use of MOOV Head Lice Solution.
3. Resistance to any synthetic insecticides can develop in some strains of head lice and if this happens these ingredients can lose their ability to be effective. MOOV Head Lice Solution has been clinically proven to be more effective than the leading chemical product.*

Q. Are head lice, body lice and pubic lice the same? Can you use MOOV Head Lice Solution to treat them all?
A. No. All three are insects, but are localised to the area on the body that provides them with their names. MOOV Head Lice Solution has been formulated to deal with infestations caused by head lice only and hasn’t been tested on any other type of lice infestation.

Q. Why are MOOV Head Lice Solution and MOOV Head Lice Foaming Gel applied to dry hair and not wet hair?
A. Head lice breathe through holes in the side of their bodies. They will react to a soaking of water by shutting down their breathing system, sometimes for hours at a time. Applying either product after soaking them with water may reduce the efficacy of both products. To help kill them outright it is highly recommended that application take place on dry hair.

Q. Where are head lice most commonly found?
A. Lice need warmth as well as food from their host. This means they stay close to the scalp and especially around the back of the neck and behind the ears. There are big blood vessels under the skin like hot water pipes and hair hanging down like a blanket keeps the heat in. When you lift the hair you can sometimes see a soft pink blush on the scalp and little white eggs in the hair itself. You should check all around the head as some lice will stray further around the head.
